Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to help maintain a secure, reliable, and trustworthy platform for merchants, developers, partners, customers, and other users.

This Policy applies to all individuals and organizations using the Services, including: - Merchants operating stores on Prebit; - Customers interacting with stores powered by Prebit; - Developers using our APIs, SDKs, CLI, Boron Framework, Krypton Framework, or .bit Theme Engine; - Integration partners; - Marketplace or partner program participants; - Visitors to the Prebit website; and - Anyone accessing or interacting with the Services.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their activities comply with this Policy, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws.

Compliance with Laws

You must use the Services only for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, regulations, licensing requirements, sanctions, export controls, consumer protection laws, tax obligations, and intellectual property laws that apply to your activities.

You must not use the Services in any manner that: - Violates applicable law; - Encourages unlawful conduct; - Assists another person in committing unlawful acts; - Attempts to evade legal or regulatory obligations; or - Interferes with lawful investigations or enforcement actions.

You remain solely responsible for the products, services, content, and business activities conducted through your store.

Prohibited Products

The Services may not be used to promote, advertise, distribute, or sell products or services that are prohibited under applicable law or that present an unacceptable risk to the platform or its users.

Examples include, but are not limited to: - Illegal drugs or controlled substances; - Counterfeit goods & stolen property; - Fraudulent or forged products; - Weapons, weapon accessories, or explosives where prohibited by law; - Fake or unapproved medicines and counterfeit medical devices; - Tobacco, nicotine, or vaping products where prohibited; - Illegal gambling products or services; - Human trafficking-related products or services; - Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors; - Wildlife trafficking or products derived from protected species; - Dangerous chemicals or hazardous substances sold unlawfully; - Fake government or forged identification documents; - Products that infringe intellectual property rights.

Prebit may determine, in its reasonable discretion, that certain products or business models create unacceptable legal, security, or reputational risks and may restrict or prohibit their use of the Services.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Services to engage in illegal, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent conduct.

Fraud and Deception Financial fraud, identity theft, account takeover attempts, phishing, social engineering, false advertising, fake invoices, order generation abuse, chargeback abuse, cryptocurrency investment scams, token scams, rug pulls, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, and deceptive commercial practices.

Payment Abuse Card testing, carding, unauthorized payment processing, stolen payment credentials, payment fraud, circumvention of payment provider restrictions, or attempts to conceal fraudulent payment activity.

Spam and Abuse Unsolicited bulk communications, spam campaigns, search ranking manipulation through deceptive practices, fake customer accounts, or fake reviews and ratings.

Intellectual Property Violations Uploading pirated software, selling stolen digital goods, distributing copyrighted content without authorization, or infringing patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Platform Abuse Circumventing technical restrictions, bypassing security controls, abusing platform resources, interfering with platform operation, exploiting service limits, creating accounts for abusive purposes, or supporting illegal marketplaces.

AI Misuse

Prebit may provide AI-powered tools that generate content, recommendations, code, summaries, product descriptions, or other outputs. AI features must be used responsibly.

You must not use AI features to: - Generate illegal content or hate speech promoting violence; - Create phishing messages or facilitate fraud and financial scams; - Generate malware, ransomware, or exploit code intended for unauthorized use; - Produce spam at scale or generate fake reviews and deceptive marketing material; - Create unauthorized deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive; - Infringe copyrights or assist unlawful activity.

Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before publication or use.

Developer Platform Rules

The Prebit Developer Platform includes APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, Documentation, the Boron Framework, the Krypton Framework, and the .bit Theme Engine.

Developers must: - Protect API keys and authentication credentials; - Use secure authentication methods & keep integrations secure; - Respect published rate limits and use APIs only for authorized purposes; - Build applications that comply with applicable laws & address security issues promptly.

Developers must not: - Share API credentials publicly or attempt unauthorized access to internal systems; - Circumvent rate limits or generate excessive automated requests intended to degrade service performance; - Attempt to access another user's data without authorization; - Misrepresent applications as officially endorsed by Prebit without permission; - Reverse engineer proprietary platform components where prohibited by law.

Security

The security of the platform is essential to maintaining reliable Services.

You must not attempt to: - Access systems, accounts, or data without authorization; - Probe or scan systems for vulnerabilities without permission; - Exploit known or unknown security vulnerabilities; - Introduce malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, or malicious software; - Perform denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks; - Disrupt infrastructure or platform availability; - Manipulate platform telemetry or disable security features.

If you discover a potential security vulnerability affecting Prebit, we encourage responsible disclosure by contacting us before publicly disclosing the issue.

Content Standards

Users are responsible for all content they upload, publish, transmit, or make available through the Services.

Content must not be illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or infringing on intellectual property.

Merchants are responsible for ensuring product descriptions, pricing, images, advertising claims, and customer communications are accurate and lawful. Prebit reserves the right to review, remove, or disable content that violates this Policy.

Enforcement

Prebit may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and take appropriate action where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, users, or applicable legal interests.

Actions may include: - Removing or disabling content & restricting access to specific features; - Suspending stores, freezing accounts, or revoking API access; - Requiring corrective actions before restoring access; - Permanently terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations; and - Reporting unlawful activities to law enforcement or competent authorities where required or permitted by law.

Reporting Violations

If you believe that content, a store, an integration, or another user's activity violates this Policy, please notify us.

Reports should include relevant URLs, account details, order information, screenshots, or supporting evidence.

Changes to this Policy

Prebit may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, technology, legal requirements, or operational practices.

The updated version becomes effective when published on the Prebit website. Your continued use of the Services after the revised Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
